PREMIER INDOOR FOOTBALL LEAGUE
PREMIER INDOOR FOOTBALL LEAGUE
Premier Sports presents the Premier Indoor Football League a professional indoor/arena style football league which will play from May to July. The league was created to fill the vacancy left by the ARENA Football League when it folded earlier this year. The PIFL will start by installing franchises in mid-level markets aswell as high level markets such as already signed Washington D.C. Federals that will play out of the Prince Georges County Sports Arena. The league will have a host of teams on the East Coast in markets such as New york , New Jersey, Maryland, and Pennsylvania and as far south as Virginia Beach. The league has also been contacted by several pre-exsisting teams about becoming league members. With the economy in a crunch the PIFL will mandate low ticket prices so that everyone can enjoy the action.
The PIFL is proud to announce the signing of the New York Empires and the Pennsylvania Prestige to its roster of member teams for 2010. PIFL officials have also contacted current AIFA team the Delmarva Bayriders a third year team that plays out of Delaware who were rumored to be searching for a league in 2010 and beyond. The Bayriders ownership seems extremely warm to the idea of our league. www.bayridersfootball.com

(Richmond , Virginia January 5, 2010) As a result of the outstanding number of request f small market teams wishing to become a member team of the PIFL in 2010 league officials have decided to propose the PIFL2 to its member teams at the Febuary owners meetings in Richmond. The philosophy of the PIFL from the begining has been to create family friendly entertainment that would stay affordable through cheaper cost of operations for its member teams, which will directly result in cheaper ticket prices for the fans. The pholosiphy of the PIFL2 will take it a step further by allowing teams to come in and play their games at our PIFL teams arenas. Each PIFL team will be allowed to sponsor 1 (one) PIFL2 team. The sponsored team would play its games prior to the sponsor teams game and will have the same schedule as the sponsor team. PIFL2 teams will still be held to the same standards as the PIFL teams. The proposal will be voted on in Febuary.
